TEMPRA TEXTURED SAND PAINT
Product Description:
TEMPRA TEXTURED SAND PAINT is a matt water based emulsion based on styrene-acrylic copolymers with different sizes of pigments and quartz, providing a highly protective textured finish.
Recommended Use:
Easy to apply, with an excellent spreading rate, and an adequate recoating interval to avoid overlapping defects. Its good elasticity provides high resistance to micro-cracking of the construction material due to internal movement or thermal expansion. The product is ideal for both exterior and interior wall (houses, industrial walls, car parks) on all types of surfaces, such as masonry, brickwork, concrete etc., where a high quality and protective finish is demanded. Many colours are available from the TEMPRA MULTICOLOR BANK apart from the White and Magnolia standard colours.

Surface Preparation:
New Surfaces
Surfaces must be clean and dry, free from loose material and dust. In case of a porous surface, a first coat using TEMPRA TEXTURED SAND PAINT diluted to not less than 50% (2:1) with VEBS SEALIT PRIMER must be applied.
Old Surfaces
All loose particles must be sanded down. Surfaces must be adequately degreased, washed with fresh water and allowed to dry.
Application Conditions:
The temperatures and relative humidity should be such that no condensation can form on the substrate. The temperature should be min. 5°C when applied.
Drying Time:
The drying times are measured according to BS 3900 Part C2 And BS 3900 Part C3. Drying times are generally related to air circulation, temperature, film thickness, and the number of coats applied and will be affected correspondingly due to a various number of variables. The figures given in the table are typical with:
- Good ventilation (Outdoor exposure or free air circulation).
- Recommended film thickness.
- One coat on top of an inert substrate.

3. Recommended data given for recoating with same generic type of paint.
4. The surface should be dry and free from any contamination prior to application of the subsequent coat.
The given data should be considered as guidelines only. The actual drying time/ times before recoating may vary considerably and may be shorter or longer, depending on existing coating, generic type, film thickness, system chosen, no. of coats, ventilation, and temperature.
Typical Recommended Paint System:
New Surface
1st Coat diluted at 50% with VEBS SEALIT.
2nd Coat diluted at 25-30% with VEBS SEALIT for exteriors, or water for interiors.
3rd Coat diluted at 10% with VEBS SEALIT for exteriors, or water for interiors.
Old Surface
1st coat diluted at 25-30% with VEBS SEALIT for exteriors, or water for interiors.
2nd coat diluted at 10% with VEBS SEALIT for exteriors, or water for interiors.
Storage:
